The 7-11 store at 177 S Division street has a long history of poor customer service, shady business practice, and property neglect. The management of this store has a constant presence of drug users and panhandlers, which they do absolutely nothing about. They're extremely rude to customers, accusing them of shoplifting, when it's usually the junkies who are the ones stealing. They have no problem yelling at and degrading paying customers, especially those with disabilities. Their "hot food" is often tough, and dried out due to having been in the hot case and not changed all day. The slurpee machine is often broken, mislabeled, or just plain gross, giving a mixture of colored syrup water, bugs, and mold. Their soda fountain is also often mislabeled, which can be a serious health risk to diabetics, thinking they're getting a diet beverage when, in fact, they're getting the regular. There's at least five years worth of negative reviews against this store. It desperately needs to be shut down!! And if it's ever reopened, it should be done so with a complete revamp, and staffed with well trained, compassionate employees who have also received proper sensitivity training.
