THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
Robott Land Company's Letter of Intent for the Flamingo 640 Glamping and Festival Development site states "all uses proposed in this project will be for the private use of guests staying at the site. No public access will be allowed. In addition, some of the existing Joshua Trees may be removed to accommodate this project."
Also, Robott Land Company has also already entered into a financial agreement with Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency to provide service to this property.
WE NEED TO GET OUR COMMENTS IN NOW to Contract Planner Jim Morrissey and Supervisor Dawn Rowe before this goes any further:

THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR COMMENTS IS APRIL 26TH.
This project is NOT for the community and will harm existing wildlife on the 640 acres including the endangered Western Joshua Tree, desert tortoises, burrowing owls, and more. For more language on what to include in your comments, please revisit this previous update as well as this google document with talking points. Make sure to include the Project and Parcel Numbers (Project # PROJ-2020-00191 on Parcel # 0629-181-01)
WE NEED TO PUT A STOP TO THIS. LET'S DO IT, TOGETHER.
