The Issue

Mold Toxicity is a Global Health Crisis—We Need Action Now!

Mold is Destroying Lives, and No One is Listening!
Millions of people around the world are silently suffering from mold toxicity, yet governments, medical professionals, and insurance companies refuse to acknowledge the devastating impact it has on human health.

Mold exposure is linked to chronic illness, neurological disorders, immune dysfunction, and long-term disability. But instead of funding research, training doctors, or protecting people from mold-contaminated environments, we are told:
🔹 “Mold isn’t a real problem.”
🔹 “Mold can’t make you sick.”
🔹 “Mold exposure isn’t covered by insurance.”

This is unacceptable.

Who is Impacted?
✔ Families forced to live in mold-infested homes because landlords refuse to remediate.
✔ Children struggling with asthma, ADHD, and autoimmune disorders caused by mold exposure in schools.
✔ Workers in moldy office buildings, hospitals, and public spaces with no legal protections.
✔ People gaslit by doctors who don’t recognize mold illness—left to suffer without treatment.
✔ The chronically ill, who are too sick to work, too sick to advocate, and too sick to fight a broken system alone.

I know because I’m one of them.

My Story—Why I’m Fighting for Change

For over a decade, I unknowingly lived in a mold-infested home. My health declined rapidly—extreme fatigue, brain fog, chronic pain, digestive issues, breathing problems, and neurological symptoms took over my life. Doctor after doctor dismissed my concerns. I was told it was anxiety. I was told it was aging. I was told it was all in my head. It wasn’t until I found a Clinical Nutritionist coach—who actually understood mold toxicity—that I finally got answers. But by then, the damage was done.

I am one of the lucky ones—my insurance, through Sutter Health, actually covered my testing and my doctor visits. A few places, like Sutter, have functional medicine departments, and I am beyond grateful for that. This should not be about luck. Even with insurance coverage, my journey was far from easy. When you are this sick, you shouldn’t have to fight your doctors, fight your insurance, and fight for basic care just to have a chance at healing. Most people don’t even get that chance.

What’s at Stake?
Without action, more people will:
⚠ Continue to suffer from undiagnosed mold-related illnesses.
⚠ Be denied coverage for essential mold testing and treatment.
⚠ Lose their health, their jobs, their homes—and their futures.

This isn’t just a local issue—it’s a worldwide crisis. Many countries have zero recognition of mold illness. Others have no medical resources or legal protections. If we don’t push for change, who will?

What Needs to Happen?

🏥 Medical Recognition – Mold toxicity must be recognized as a legitimate health condition by the medical community. Doctors need to be trained to diagnose and treat it properly.

🔬 Research & Funding – Governments must fund studies on the long-term effects of mold exposure and develop effective treatment protocols.

🏡 Housing & Workplace Protections – We need legal regulations to ensure mold is properly remediated in homes, schools, and workplaces.

💰 Insurance Reform – Mold-related testing, treatment, and remediation must be covered by health insurance and home insurance policies.

📢 Global Awareness – Public health organizations must acknowledge the severity of mold toxicity and provide accurate, science-backed information to the public.

Why Now?
This problem isn’t going away. Every day, more people are getting sick and being ignored. It’s time for us to raise our voices and demand change.

🌎 This is a worldwide issue, and we need global action. Whether you live in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else—this affects YOU.

Sign this petition and share it with your community. Let’s hold governments, doctors, and insurance companies accountable.

💙 Our voices matter. Our health matters. Change starts with us. 💙
