It is hard to believe almost another 2 years have passed since my last update.

At that time, I was in total despair and absolutely set on getting a vitrectomy.

However, I wasn't able to muster up enough courage to go through with it. And yet, I still haven't decided whether I will go through with the operation. It may still happen, I just don't know when.

For us floater sufferers, we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Don't do a vitrectomy, your quality of life may not improve. Do a vitrectomy, it may improve, but you may end up in a far worse place if the operation encounters complications.

Have I gotten more used to the floaters that first appeared 4 years ago? No, I have not. I don't see it happening any time soon, if ever. Have I learned to build more strength to hide the pain from living with floaters? Yes, definitely.

No matter what I will continue to fight hard for eye floaters awareness and more research.
