☀️ A cheerier photo today as the sun is shining, and so is the support!

Day 3, and we’ve now passed 350 signatures!
That’s absolutely fantastic and well on the way to our first target of 500. Thank you all for signing, sharing and spreading the word, the momentum is building.

Across the country, more and more communities are speaking out about sewage discharges affecting their rivers, roads and local environments. This is not just a local issue, it’s a national one, but change starts at community level.

I’ve contacted Yetminster Parish Council and the Clerk has kindly confirmed the petition will be shared with Councillors, inviting them to sign and support the campaign.

Although I’m away working for a couple of days, I’ll continue promoting the petition, reaching out to local businesses, Councillors and our local MP.

If you’re out walking our public footpaths, or if you’re a landowner checking your land, and you safely see suspected signs of water pollution, please take photographs where appropriate.

You can upload them to the Facebook page:
“Brister End And Wriggle Valley Sewage Discharge Information”
or email them to: gsl.1styetminster@gmail.com

Thank you all for the continued support, let’s keep going.

Onwards to 500.
