The Issue

In our community on Osborn Road, we are currently undergoing a Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) project. While this effort is crucial for improving our water management system, it also presents a unique opportunity to enhance the safety and accessibility of our streets.

During the project, only minimal curbs, sidewalks and aprons were updated. Uneven or damaged curves create tripping hazards and tribute to absences and injuries. Additionally deteriorating aprons can complicate access to driveways and pedestrian crossings.

Updating these infrastructure elements during the CSO project will not only optimize safety, but also save additional cost and efforts that would be necessary if conducted separately at a later date. Proactive integration of these updates can enhance the overall quality of life and accessibility in our neighborhood.

We call on the city planners and relevant authorities to include curb and apron improvements on Osborn Rd similar to the rest of the neighborhood. It is essential that the infrastructure supports a safe and efficient environment for all residents and visitors.

Join us in advocating for these necessary updates by signing this petition. Your support can lead to a safer more accessible community for everyone.
