Require resellers to disclose product sourcing

Require resellers to disclose product sourcing
The Issue
To start off the petition, it will be national for the country of Denmark, but I am hoping to turn it into an EU-wide or perhaps even globally wide petition.

I've always enjoyed supporting small businesses, that uphold authenticity and original craftsmanship. However, I recently found myself unwittingly supporting the very practices I stand against. While browsing stands at a farmers' markets, I bought a couple of finger-rings I believed were unique, only to discover later that they were sourced from mass-market platforms like Temu and Shein. I would never buy from or support these businesses, and feel that I was not only deceived into doing so, but was also sold the item for more than three times the selling price. Another stand at the place was selling 3D-printed pieces of assumingly "borrowed" artwork, that I've seen at a bunch of other stands in other places as well; Geckos, spiders - you know the ones.
My recent visits to the local reselling-second hand stores have had same effect; Instead of finding original, vintage pieces, I am met with shelves full of plastic and bulk-bought items. It is very sad to see, especially as I've always loved giving old pieces a new home. Instead of finding joy in these places, I now try to avoid them as it makes me upset and frustrated; I try to find the spaces that at the very least donates the earnings to chairity, which also have a lot less inauthentic pieces.
This experiences is not unique to me. I know of many who are frustrated with the way farmers markets and second-hand stores are becoming. Many consumers rely on these markets to find genuine, vintage, and artistically crafted goods. However, with the rise of online bulk purchase sites offering low-quality low-cost products, resellers have taken the oppertunity to mislead buyers for profit. This deceit not only robs consumers of authentic choices but also harms real artisans and smaller businesses.
An attempt at a solution would be to mandate sellers to be obliged to disclose if the product is bought online, and if so provide transparency regarding what site it was bought from and original purchase price.
By doing so, consumers can make more informed choices, and be able to support genuine craftsmanship instead of deceptive reselling practices.

Sign this petition to help me call for legislative action that would require transparency in product sourcing, and let us ensure our markets reflect the values of authenticity and integrity. I look forward to seeing genuine, original, and vintage items in the stores, artist alleys and stands again!
