As a concerned parent with children attending Pine Grove Elementary School, I am deeply troubled by the ongoing issues under the administration of Principal Michelle Boyd. Over time, I have witnessed numerous unresolved problems at the school, many of which directly impact the safety and well-being of our children. These issues have been either inadequately handled or completely ignored by the principal.

Safety at Pine Grove Elementary should be of utmost priority, yet incidents like inadequate supervision on the playground and lapses in school security protocols continue without proper resolution. In addition, there have been repeated complaints from parents and faculty about the lack of communication and transparency from the administration, which further undermines trust and confidence in the school’s leadership.

Despite bringing these concerns to Principal Boyd’s attention repeatedly, changes have not been enacted, and the same issues persist. As someone who entrusts the education and safety of my children to this institution, it is disheartening and unacceptable that these critical concerns remain unaddressed.

We need effective leadership that prioritizes student safety, listens to the community, and acts promptly to address issues as they arise. Therefore, I am urging the school board to call for Michelle Boyd to step down or resign from her position as principal of Pine Grove Elementary School. It is time we have a leader who is accountable and capable of fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.
