In the last four years, there has been an uproar with how the schools are being too political instead of focusing on education. With some of the schools allowing "furries" to take over and administrators permitting petting of each other, along with a display of other flags all over the schools, children are getting mixed messages about what education is all about. As an educator, a parent, and a stakeholder in this community, I find it unacceptable to alter students' thinking. 

The American flag represents unity and shared values that our country stands for. By requiring all Minooka 201 schools to only fly the American flag, we can ensure that our educational environment remains focused on learning and not political or social distractions. This change will help maintain a consistent message about respect for national symbols and prioritize educational goals.
