Have you seen the news? City council intends to repeal their zone change decision that would irrevocably change our beautiful Hyde Park Square! We are thrilled and hope you are too!

THE PETITION

We, the undersigned, say the two 85-foot-tall buildings proposed by HPSRD LLC (PLK Communities, NorthPointe Group and the Loring Group) for Hyde Park Square are TOO TALL. We ask city officials to restrict heights of new buildings to 50 feet as required by the Cincinnati Zoning Code.

The proposed HOTEL is shown in white, and the APARTMENT BUILDING in stripes. Hyde Park Square’s current zoning ALLOWS NEW BUILDINGS TO BE 50 FEET HIGH, NOT 85 FEET HIGH. This proposed developement is JUST TOO BIG. Additional details available at www.savehydeparksquare.org.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE! Please show your support for local businesses and the preservation of Hyde Park Square by signing this petition.

As city residents, we value the unique qualities and charm of the Hyde Park neighborhood and its crown jewel, Hyde Park Square. It is now at risk of being literally overshadowed by two towering structures, forever altering the character of our community and our city.

I appreciate everyone's active engagement in this process. Before I have input on the proposed zoning changes, this item will first appear before the Planning Commission following a series of community engagement sessions. I am monitoring this process closely and am waiting to see how the Planning Commission votes on this development to help inform my final decision. Thank you, Councilmember Anna Albi
