It’s too easy for society to pigeon hole people’s sexualities based on the gender of their current partners to the extent that bisexuality often gets overlooked and erased. Creating an emoji for the bisexual flag would be a significant step towards normalizing the presence of bisexual people in society and reducing this erasure. Emojis are a universal language used daily by millions worldwide; having an emoji that represents the bisexual community would foster greater visibility and acceptance.
