Hi,

We are Thrive 3, a group of SEND students from the Hive College in Birmingham. One of our units of work in College was focused on solving everyday problems and as part of this unit, we identified that some of our major problems related to how accessible supermarket stores and other retail outlets such as clothing stores and food venues are.

We found that, we as wheelchair users face a variety of issues when using these places and most of these issues are restricting our independence.

INDEPENDENCE IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT, PLEASE HELP US TO MAKE A CHANGE!

Sign this petition to urge all major UK retail stores and food venues to install wheelchair accessible tills and self-service checkouts as well as making reasonable adjustments within stores that sell clothing and food.
