In a healthcare system that should prioritize patients' needs first, insurance should not dictate the quality of care we receive. Statistics show that rural areas like ours have less access to specialized healthcare services, leading to broader health disparities. Ensuring that the Wilkes Pediatrics Clinic is covered by Aetna Meritain Insurance would alleviate this disparity and demonstrate a commitment to equitable healthcare access.

I urge Aetna Meritain Insurance to reevaluate their network affiliations within Wilkes County and recognize the Wilkes Pediatrics Clinic as a covered Tier 1 facility.
