The Issue

Stray Kids, a remarkable K-pop group, saved me and millions of other fans during the darkest moments of our lives. Their music and resilience have been a beacon of hope, helping many of us find strength and joy even when life seemed unbearable. Yet, behind the scenes, they endure challenges that no artist should. Bang Chan, the talented leader of Stray Kids, has been mistreated by older staff members at Division 1 of JYP Entertainment (JYPE). This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and cannot continue.

Furthermore, Lee Know is reportedly experiencing depressive episodes, a situation that calls for immediate attention and support from the management. Han, another member endowed with unique artistic talent, is being held back from releasing solo songs—an artistic freedom that any artist should reasonably expect. Then there's Hyunjin and Seungmin, who have openly expressed concerns about their overpriced merchandise, even urging fans not to buy it. Seungmin, in particular, continues to suffer from an injury, limping for over six months now, a condition that could worsen if not treated properly.  Felix is being overworked with 15 global ambassadorships while Han doesn't even have ONE.

In light of these issues, the blame is on the mismanagement and failure of Division 1 to protect and promote Stray Kids. They are not getting the promotional support they need and deserve, which could jeopardize their career growth and personal well-being.

The members of Stray Kids have worked tirelessly to bring joy and inspiration through their music. They deserve adequate rest, fair treatment, and supportive management that will nurture their growth and protect their physical and mental well-being.

We cannot ignore the adverse impact of such mismanagement. Stray Kids need time to rest and heal, both mentally and physically. We demand JYPE Division 1 to improve their management practices urgently. Grant Stray Kids the rest they deserve, treat them with respect, and promote their careers responsibly.

Let's stand together and urge JYPE to make these necessary changes. Please sign this petition to show your support for Stray Kids and to insist on fair treatment and adequate rest for the group members we admire and respect.
