Request to Change WBJEE 2026 Exam Date Due to Clash with IMU-CET 2026
Request to Change WBJEE 2026 Exam Date Due to Clash with IMU-CET 2026
The Issue
We, the students preparing for WBJEE 2026, respectfully request the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board to reconsider the scheduled exam date.
WBJEE 2026 is currently planned to be held on 24 May 2026, which is the same day as IMU-CET 2026. Many students across India are preparing for both examinations because they lead to different career opportunities — engineering through WBJEE and maritime careers through IMU-CET.
Due to this date clash, students are forced to sacrifice one important opportunity and cannot appear for both exams. This situation creates unnecessary stress and limits the choices of thousands of students who have worked hard to prepare for these examinations.
We humbly request the authorities to kindly reconsider or adjust the WBJEE 2026 exam schedule so that students can appear for both examinations without losing an opportunity for their future.
We sincerely hope the board will take this matter into consideration and support the interests of students.
