Growing up, Dragon Ball FighterZ has been a remarkable and generational game for many, including myself. It's a game that not only brings excitement and thrill but also connects gamers across the globe. For some of us, especially those who play on the Steam Deck and various Linux distributions like Bazzite and CachyOS, we find ourselves limited by the inability to enjoy the full online features of the game due to the restrictions imposed by its current anti-cheat measures, no enabling Easy Anti Cheat to work on Linux at all.

Our community, though humble, is rapidly growing. The Steam Deck alone has sold an impressive 5 million units, and Linux encompasses around 4% of the total Steam user share. We might be a minority, but our passion and dedication to gaming are unparalleled. We've seen popular games like Halo Infinite, Fall Guys, and The Finals make their online features accessible on Linux despite using Easy Anti-Cheat.

As Dragon Ball FighterZ plans to continue its support for the game (announced on EVO France, October 11th 2025), we sincerely urge the developers to either remove the Easy Anti-Cheat restriction or incorporate support for Steam OS and other Linux distributions. By allowing us to join the fight online, you'll not only support our community but also contribute to its growth.

Let's make Dragon Ball FighterZ truly inclusive for everyone by making these necessary adjustments. We, the dedicated community, respectfully ask for this change so all players, irrespective of their devices, can unite and enjoy this incredible game together.
