For six years, a group of duly accredited scientists, molecular biologists, forensic medicine experts, geneticists, anthropologists, and journalists have analyzed unusual desiccated bodies, humanoid but not human, seemingly carbon-dated to be approximately 1,400 to 1,800 years old, with rare metal implants within different parts of their bodies, found in a cave in Nazca, Peru. Approximately 40 specimens have been unearthed there, which appear to correspond to several different species. According to their research and the results from highly accredited laboratory tests (such as CEN4GEN in Canada), which include DNA analysis, high-definition tomography, X-rays, and much more, these experts have concluded that these are indeed real organic bodies that were once alive. They assert that "there is no evidence that they are the result of an evolution of any species that has ever existed at any time or that currently exists on Earth, nor do they correspond to any phylogenetic evolutionary process on this planet as determined through paleogenetic studies (ultra-sequencing of ancient DNA remains)." The presentation of two of the bodies during public hearings in the Mexican congress has sparked much controversy worldwide amidst a media campaign that has dismissed and sensationalized the serious analysis of the phenomenon.  Are we facing a ceremonial body alteration, a mutation, a sophisticated fraud, or the discovery of an exotic, non-human specimen?

As a science fiction writer and science enthusiast, I emphasize the importance of approaching with an open mind and scientific rigor the mysteries that challenge our historical and scientific understanding. The controversy surrounding the "Nazca mummies," particularly the specimen known as "María," has sparked debate and division within the scientific community and the general public.

In light of this, I respectfully request President Dina Boluarte of Peru to instruct the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation, supported by verifiable scientific evidence and in collaboration with both national and international recognized institutions and experts. The purpose of this investigation is to determine the authenticity of these specimens. The process should be transparent, with results made publicly accessible, and, based on these findings, appropriate measures should be taken to communicate the truth, preserve, and study these findings if confirmed as authentic.

This petition not only seeks clarity and closure on a controversial issue but also aims to promote scientific knowledge and ensure that, if authentic, these findings are duly valued and protected as part of cultural and scientific heritage.

If proven to be a fraud, it is crucial to communicate this officially and put an end to the debate in favor of the scientific community. Conversely, if it turns out to be authentic, it has the potential to profoundly alter our perception of our species and our evolutionary past. Therefore, I request transparency in this process to ensure an accurate and objective understanding.

Durante 6 años, un grupo de científicos debidamente acreditados, biólogos moleculares, expertos en medicina forense, genetistas, antropólogos y periodistas han analizado cuerpos inusuales disecados, humanoides pero no humanos, aparentemente fechados por carbono con una antigüedad aproximada de 1.400 a 1.800 años, con implantes de metales raros dentro de diferentes partes de sus cuerpos, encontrados en una cueva en Nazca, Perú, donde se han desenterrado aproximadamente 40 especímenes que parecieran corresponder a varias especies diferentes. La presentación de dos de los cuerpos durante audiencias públicas en el congreso mexicano ha despertando mucha controversia a nivel mundial en medio de una campaña mediática que ha desestimado  y farandulizado el análisis serio del fenómeno. ¿Estamos frente a una alteración corporal ceremonial, a una mutación, a un sofisticado fraude, o al descubrimiento de un especímen exótico no humano?

Como escritor de ciencia ficción y amante de la ciencia, subrayo la importancia de abordar con mente abierta y rigor científico los misterios que desafían nuestra comprensión histórica y científica. La controversia en torno a las "momias de Nazca", especialmente el espécimen conocido como "María", ha generado debate y división dentro de la comunidad científica y el público en general.

Ante esto, solicito respetuosamente a la presidenta del Perú, Dina Boluarte, que instruya a las autoridades pertinentes para realizar una investigación exhaustiva, apoyada por pruebas científicas verificables y en colaboración con instituciones y expertos reconocidos tanto nacionales como internacionales, para determinar la autenticidad de estos especímenes. Esta investigación debe ser transparente, sus resultados deben ser públicamente accesibles y, dependiendo de estos, tomar las medidas apropiadas para comunicar la verdad, preservar y estudiar estos hallazgos si se confirman como auténticos.

Esta petición no solo busca claridad y cierre en un tema controvertido, sino también promover el conocimiento científico y asegurar que, si auténticos, estos hallazgos sean debidamente valorados y protegidos como parte del patrimonio cultural y científico. 

 Si se demuestra que se trata de un fraude, es fundamental que se comunique de manera oficial y se ponga fin al debate en favor de la comunidad científica. Si por el contrario resulta auténtico, posee el potencial para modificar profundamente nuestra percepción de nuestra especie y nuestro pasado evolutivo. Por lo tanto, solicito transparencia en este proceso para asegurar una comprensión precisa y objetiva del mismo.
