The issue

Star Wars: Unlimited is thriving in tabletop play, but it currently has no official digital way to play and no official online Organized Play (OP) path. That leaves out a huge portion of the community — especially players in remote areas, players without a local store scene, people with limited mobility, and players whose work/family schedules make in-person OP difficult.

An official online option would improve accessibility, keep more players engaged between releases, and help the game grow internationally.

Why this matters
Other trading card games have shown what a well-supported digital platform can do:

  • Accessibility: anyone can play, learn, and compete regardless of location
  • Retention: daily play keeps interest high between in-person events
  • Growth: a digital client lowers the barrier for new players
  • Community: online leagues and tournaments build connections across regions
  • Magic: The Gathering Arena is a clear example of how digital play can expand a TCG’s reach while complementing the tabletop ecosystem.

What we’re asking Fantasy Flight Games / Asmodee to do:
We’re asking for a clear, official roadmap for online play, for example:

Official Online OP Support (near-term):

official guidance + rules support for remote/webcam events
official online tournament support through an approved platform
an online OP pilot program so players outside major cities can participate

Official Digital Play (mid/long-term):

explore an official SWU digital client (or a licensed partner solution)
include ranked play, casual queues, and official online tournaments

The goal
A safe, officially supported way to play Star Wars: Unlimited online — helping the game remain accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for years to come.
