It’s that time of year when families snap first day photos of hopeful children ready for another year student success. But in Neptune City, children return to school under constant threat of panic-inflicting alarms that mean nothing, but sound like evacuation orders. Imagine trying to study while an air horn blares in your ear; no parent, student, or teacher can perform in this environment. Children deserve the right to play, study, focus, and sleep without the threatening hazard of deafening noise. 

While our coalition grows in number and power, townspeople are regularly ripped from life to evacuate homes as they try to understand why we continue to face ongoing sirens that truly seem to signify nothing.

The science is clear, exposure to noise like the Neptune City town horn has proven to be harmful to your health and the health of children most of all. The question is when will the Neptune City Town Council respect the rights of the community and stop the unnecessary suffering?
