I am a devoted believer of Sikhism and I believe it is our collective responsibility to guard the sanctity of our teachings and traditions. It is in line with this conviction that I am raising concern about our religious leadership at the Sikh Gurudwara in Lovely Banks Vic 3213. It is apparent that the managing committee in its current state, exhibits a strongly anti-Sikh Maryada stance and profound disrespect towards our sacred Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The management appears to be misusing its authority by Prohibiting/Banning Sikh community members from entering their place of worship. This action seems to stem solely from the fact that these individuals were requesting greater transparency regarding the organization’s financial practices. Unfortunately, they do not embody and uphold Sikh values, which is detrimental to our community. Furthermore, their governance is mired in allegations of deep-seated corruption. Our sacred place of worship deserves an administration that genuinely respects, understands, and promotes Sikh values. With this petition, I appeal to the Sikh community and beyond to raise their voices against this inadequacy and call for an immediate change in leadership. It is a necessary step in safeguarding our faith and its principles from dilution and preserving the integrity of Sikhism. Help us redress this situation by signing this petition.
