This is an important life skill that can prevent children and teenagers from entering into and recognising unstable, destructive relationships which often has a devastating impact. In some cases leading to poor health, suicide or murder. 

Sex Education should be replaced with Healthy Relationships Education (HRE) which should be introduced at primary school level as a compulsory subject to cover Relationship with Self, Relationships with Others (family, friends, peers, strangers, tutors) and Social Awareness. 

This subject will cover Trust, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, Boundaries, Communication, and more.

These lessons should begin at home but it's important that they are continued through education. Let's start getting it right by introducing Healthy Relationships as a subject/lesson taught in EVERY educational institution in the U.K.
