On October 10, 2024, the National Council for Human Rights unanimously approved the resolution concerning the repeal of the Law on parental alienation, ban of terms and related and other recommendations to the National Congress, CNJ and CNMP, resolving further that the LAP is unconstitutional, and Obligation to cohabitate with a parent (male) the perpetrator of violence is torture.
