On October 10, 2024, the National Council for Human Rights unanimously approved the resolution concerning the repeal of the Law on parental alienation, ban of terms and related and other recommendations to the National Congress, CNJ and CNMP, resolving further that the LAP is unconstitutional, and Obligation to cohabitate with a parent (male) the perpetrator of violence is torture. The text is the result of the work of the Gender Commission through the Collective Voice Materna, with support and partnership of the Brazilian Union of Women Maria das Neves - coordinator of the Commission), review and partnership of David Carneiro and Cecilia Hidelbrand. Follow in Resolution no 29 of October 18, 2024 - CNDH.
