The Issue

Why is Florida on the wrong side of the Constitution? The Second Amendment is under fire from all of the Blue States and Florida?

What's wrong with this picture?

Let us be clear: the matter before us transcends any single article of the Bill of Rights. The constitutional framework is an interlocking structure, and an unopposed infringement upon the Second Amendment sets a perilous legal precedent. It signals that fundamental, God-given rights are not inviolable but are instead subject to the whims of political convenience. Such a precedent establishes a clear and present danger to the freedom of speech, the right to due process, and the security of our private property. Therefore, we are not merely defending one right; we are defending the foundational principle that government power is limited and that the rights of the citizen are absolute. To remain silent is to acquiesce to the systematic dismantling of our constitutional order.

Florida's bump stock law
State law: Florida Statute 790.222 bans "any device" that alters a firearm's rate of fire to mimic automatic weapons or increases it "to a faster rate than is possible for a person to fire such semiautomatic firearm unassisted".

Legal risk for FRTs: Because an FRT increases the speed at which a shooter can fire, law enforcement could interpret it as a violation of this statute, even though a separate trigger pull is required for each shot.
Felony charge: A violation of this law is a third-degree felony.

Join me in challenging this infringement upon our constitutional rights. Sign this petition to repeal Florida Statute 790.222 and uphold our commitment to the Second Amendment. Together, we can ensure our voices are heard, and our freedoms are preserved for generations to come.
