As a Black American I feel that we deserve reparations from the physical and mental abuse that our ancestors endured. Slavery was not only a mental and physical abuse, but also a thought process. It was something to control Black Americans forever, Although we are free  We’re really not free from discrimination in todays society. We have witnessed many more different abuse in todays world. We never received what was promised to our people for the kidnapping and torture of our ancestors. I feel that if that was promised to us today, Black Americans would have a better chance at living a good life in America. Assassinations, illegal lynching and government plots of discrimination is what people like.. Martin Luther King, Malcom X ,Harriett Tubman, George Floyd and Trevon Martin experience in this hateful world of their time of living. However it does not stop with just them the list goes on as we live on in todays world. For all black Americans, If you did not know that in California they took a stand and won 5 to 4 they  passed the law and ruled in favor of reparations for black American to get back what’s owed to them. We to need to stand together and make a change, Florida can also get what’s owed to us if we just take a stand as one! Let’s stand together and make a change for reparations owed to black Americans.
