Correct me if I am wrong.  If you torture a person to the point of killing them,  what happens to them?   They go to trial, are convicted (hopefully) and serve time.  

Now if a person tortures an animal.  They usually away with it and if the person tortures the animal to the point of killing it.  They get a slap on their wrist and are set free.  

Heres the the story of Onyx.  She was a two month old puppy.

According to an arrest warrant filed by Raleigh police, 25-year-old Shawnesse Valencia "maliciously beat and tortured a black and white female 2-month-old pit bull mix puppy named 'Onyx' resulting in her death”.  

WHY?   The puppy had an accident on the carpet.  

I am sick to my stomach.  This story has upset me so much that instead of going to sleep I am here composing this petition in hope of getting someone’s attention.  This had to stop and I won’t stop until something is done.

I am asking all my fellow animal lovers to please sign this petition and share it with anyone and everyone.
