Reopen the Steve McNair-Sahel Kazemi Case
The Issue
We are calling on the Metro Nashville Police Department, the District Attorney’s Office, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to reopen and reinvestigate the deaths of NFL quarterback Steve McNair and 20-year-old Sahel "Jenny" Kazemi.
On July 4, 2009, both were found dead in a downtown Nashville condo. Within hours, it was ruled a murder-suicide—despite a mountain of inconsistencies, ignored testimony, and suspicious behavior from those involved.
Fifteen years later, serious questions remain unanswered.

Why This Matters:
Key witness statements contradict each other, and timelines don’t add up.
The crime scene photos and official reports contain glaring inconsistencies.
One of the first people at the scene did not immediately report the deaths—he called a friend instead of 911.
New firsthand accounts from her ex boyfriend, Keith Norfleet and now including a woman who spoke to Jenny just days before her death, reveal Jenny was not in love with Steve McNair and may have been considering reconciliation with her ex boyfriend, Keith Norfleet.
