Reopen kiosko Hollywood and Pedro in Cala Llonga Ibiza

Reopen kiosko Hollywood and Pedro in Cala Llonga Ibiza
The Issue
PETITION BY ARC IBIZAFOR
We were contacted by the owner of Kiosko Pedro in Cala Llonga recently, regarding the forced-closure of his "chiringuito", along with his brothers, Hollywood.
Paolo saw our petition which we created for Chiringuito Es Puetó and asked us to share his very similar plight, thanks to the rules regarding the coastline.
WE HAVE NOW DECIDED TO CREATE ANOTHER PETITION, THIS TIME FOR HIM AND HIS BROTHER.
Since 2025 they have been unable to open due to the coastal law (Ley de Costas), which is having a detrimental impact on many small businesses here on the island.
Concrete builds are no longer allowed to be on the beach, however these venues were built BEFORE the laws came into effect.
Kiosko Pedro and Kiosko Hollywood are approximately 50 meters away from the waters edge, and the beach is quite large.
Our petition for Es Puetó has over 5000 signatures now, but it should be many more.
Many of these family-owned businesses have been a part of the islands traditional hospitality scene for over 4 decades DECADES.
They have provided thousands of locals and tourists many hours of enjoyment over the years.
Creating fond memories and keeping in touch with the true feel of Ibiza.
No fancy VIP areas and no overinflated prices.
Just good food, drink and vibes.
Yet another part of the authenticity of Ibiza is being taken away from hard working locals, who have worked for generations to keep their family business thriving.
Did you visit either of these before they were closed?
We'd love to see your old photos in the comments, so the owners can be reminded of how wonderful those times were and to raise awareness of what's really happening "behind closed doors" here on the white isle.
