The removal of access not only increases the chance of dangerous situations occurring whereby lorries and cars now have to turn/manoeuvre in a narrow street, it also increases congestion by channelling more traffic into a smaller amount of roads at peak times. This will increase cars and vehicles sitting stationary, increasing emissions that damage the environment and heighten health problems such as respiratory issues and stress. Furthermore, the restriction of access for all vehicles will cause major issues should an emergency vehicle need to access the road! This decision could physically cost lives!

Local businesses such as KFORD TYRES will lose trade as reduced access means people may choose to go elsewhere. Reopening this road is essential for safety, reducing congestion, protecting our environment, and supporting local businesses.
