Today the community found out the Bel Air Athletic Club is being forced to close as the landlord wishes to sell the property for real estate development. This club is a staple of the community and affords many people opportunities to better their lives. Without this club, not only will there be a void in the community, but a serious lack of child care services accommodating to children with active bodies and families who need the flexibility the club offers. One month is not enough time for the members or staff to brace for the closing of this club.
