Whereas; because our social climate is still in turmoil there is still a place for Leverage in the world to show people how to fight for the little guy (especially because it's seemingly the only show of its kind out there)

Whereas; it already breaks a lot of representation barriers (from things as big as Parker's quasi-canonical autism to things as small as Harry being an adult with a "serious job" who's still able to geek out over nerd stuff like he's a kid) and there's so many more it could do if allowed to go on (e.g. didn't they say the OT3 was safe, where's the canon poly confirmation, even if Hardison can't be a regular team member long-distance relationships are a thing)

Whereas; in today's climate of shorter and shorter seasons shows with shorter-than-normal numbers of episodes per season should deserve to go on for higher-than-average numbers of seasons to make up a content deficit both in and of themselves and for TV viewers overall especially since this upcoming season is so short.

Whereas; since shows about chaotic badasses changing the world even if they don't involve cons have now become a bit of a trend and especially if Leverage played any part in inspiring it it shouldn't end once those shows have just gotten started otherwise it reinforces that there can only be so many of those shows at once

Whereas; if people have to watch shows about criminals (they'll always be an interesting subject for as long as crime exists) wouldn't you rather they watch bright and fun shows about technically-criminals using their brain to do good than grimdark dramas trying to be the next Breaking Bad or overdramatic true crime shows

Whereas; since Leverage: Redemption is a continuation not just a reboot-sequel not going as many seasons as the original if possible would make it feel tacked-on and not-worth-caring-about

Whereas; even if it might seem ironic a show on an Amazon-owned thing about taking down big corporations etc., the more it goes on, the more it might potentially knock some sense into Bezos

Therefore; Leverage: Redemption should be renewed for a 4th season #renewleverageredemption #letsgostealaseason4
