I just found out that Good Cop/Bad Cop hasn’t been renewed and honestly it’s really disappointing.

I just saw it on the New York Times “The Best 30 Shows on Netflix Right Now” list and got excited because I thought that meant a second season was coming. After looking it up though, I see that’s not actually the case.

From what I can tell it’s available on both Amazon and Netflix, so I don’t even really know who this should be directed at in terms of renewing it but it seems like everyone who’s found it has really enjoyed it.

It was such an easy and genuinely fun watch, which feels rare now when so many shows are super dark or take themselves way too seriously. It honestly filled a gap for me I didn’t know I had. Same energy as Brooklyn 99, where the more time you spend with the characters the, more you love them. 

Come on streamers — you’ve got so much on your platforms already and you’re not renewing the quality and fun shows?
