After reaching out to Cecil Rice it is obvious that our university has a troubled history of race that is larger than one building. 

Quoted from Cecil Rice: “Bill Kelly” was the biggest racist of all. Kelly Shorts stadium is named after this same person. Should we honor someone simply because they led us to some championships?

Do we want students to congregate in a place where the very place they are playing/watching is named after a person who rather not have any black students on campus or even on his football team?

The answer is no it should not a man who says “nigger” jokingly to his team to talk about his black players and black community members.

Rename Kelly Shorts Stadium and any buildings named after racist
