I am writing to ask for your help with our GOFUNDME FUNDRAISER to honor the memory of William Donnell Porter. As you may know, we are organizing "Remembering William Donnell Porter: A Day of Safety and Remembrance" on May 20th, which would have been his birthday. This event aims to raise awareness about child safety and provide resources for parents and children to protect themselves against unforeseen dangers.

In addition, we have a special project that we are hoping to accomplish with your help. We want to install a memorial plaque in Donnell's honor at PS 92 | Mary McLeod Bethune School, where he was going on the day of his abduction. This plaque will serve as a lasting tribute to Donnell and a reminder to our community to remain vigilant in protecting our children.
