On September 29, 2026, the President signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence alongside the heads of Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Nvidia and xAI. It may be the most important document of the century. On the signature line, it identifies him as the President of the Unites States of America.

Every news outlet in the country called it a typo. We disagree.

United is a description. It says the work is done. Unites is a verb. It says the work is happening. Anyone who has watched this country for the last decade knows which word is honest.

Names matter. We renamed the Gulf of Mexico. We rename military bases, highways and airports every year. The country itself should not be exempt from a correction that its own government has already made in writing.

We are not asking Congress to fix the document. We are asking Congress to fix the country to match the document.

We, the undersigned, call on Congress and the White House to officially amend the name of our nation to the Unites States of America, effective immediately, so that our name reflects what we are actually trying to do.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
