Rename 'South China Sea' to 'Southeast Asia Sea' on Google Maps

The Issue

The name 'South China Sea' is a misnomer that does not accurately represent the diverse nations surrounding this body of water. Countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia also border this sea and have significant historical and cultural ties to it. Renaming it to 'Southeast Asia Sea' would provide a more inclusive and geographically accurate designation. This change would promote regional unity and respect for all nations involved. Please sign this petition to urge Google Maps to adopt the name 'Southeast Asia Sea'.  Thank you for your consideration of this important global matter.

Please refer to the Wikipedia South China Sea article for more details (excerpts below):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_China_Sea

"...This name is a result of early European interest in the sea as a route from Europe and South Asia to the trading opportunities of China. In the 16th century, Portuguese sailors called it the China Sea (Mare da China); later needs to differentiate it from nearby bodies of water led to calling it South China Sea...".

"States and territories with borders on the sea (clockwise from north) include: the People's Republic of China, the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam."
