Chinaman or Chinamen was a racist term used to insult Chinese 200 years ago, it is still racist today. There are over 250 place names across Australia include the term Chinaman or Chinamen, that is about 12 to 250 times more than the other countries with a similar history or gold rush and anti-Chinese discrimination, including the United States, New Zealand, and Canada.

We therefore ask to rename the places which use the term ‘Chinaman’ or ‘Chinamen’ in their names.
