Hello friends!
Tomorrow is the year anniversary of the passing of Ozzy - and a year since this campaign started.
As a direct result of a similar petition from This Day In Metal, it is officially National Ozzy Day tomorrow in Birmingham. There's a tonne of amazing stuff going on, read more about it here.
Massive thank you to Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Central BID, Birmingham Selfridges, Birmingham New Street, Birmingham Museums and all the amazing partners who are getting behind this.
Interestingly, I didn't see Birmingham Airport on the list of a supporters - I assume this can only be some sort of oversight.
If you are based in Birmingham, I hope to see you tomorrow!
ICYMI:
I went to Birmingham, Alabama to ask that city for support in renaming the airport. See the video here.
