This is a petition to remove the yellow barricades at state road 67 at the bottom of observatory hill. this prevents local residents from crossing state road 67 to go north to Mooresville and Indianapolis which 99 percent of all residents used this route, it also prevents residents from traveling to old state road 67 to Brooklyn .The only option for residents is to go south on 67 and make dangerous u turns on the highway further south slowing down traffic from 65 miles a hour to 5, these barricades prevent anybody coming from Brooklyn to go south on 67,  this is the only intersection that is blocked with these barricades from Indianapolis, where 67 starts , all the way to Spencer, Indiana.  I spoke to 2 sheriff deputy’s that patrol this highway and ask if these barricades were installed because of high risks for accidents and they said no. There was no accidents reported at that intersection . Please remove this nuisance.

after submitting this petition to indot, her response was that the Morgan county commissioners were contacted before the barricades went up, and none of them voiced opposition to them ,  and since then , none of the commissioners have called to have them removed.  My advice to fellow citizens is the call all of the commissioners and tell them to get these removed,  also call this lady and bombard her with phone calls, I told her I have 207 petitioners on this change,.org plus 200 petitioners I got door to door.  Her name is Abigail Johnson.
