Remove The Stations Of The Cross from St Mary's, Hidden Gem Church.

Remove The Stations Of The Cross from St Mary's, Hidden Gem Church.
The Issue
The Hidden Gem church in Manchester showcases exquisite architecture, highlighted by its stunning altar and the shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Manchester.
However, adorning the walls are Norman Adams’ Fourteen Stations of the Cross, which fail to evoke a sense of reverence. Their abstract nature makes it difficult to discern each station, lacking the traditional imagery that inspires faith. Additionally, the artist was not even Christian but an Agnostic! The painter's lack of faith is evident in their somewhat grotesque appearance, more suited to a modern art gallery than a place of worship.
The modernist style of these stations starkly contrasts with the church's traditional Romanesque design, creating a discordant visual experience within this otherwise beautiful setting.
A church should be beautiful, a heaven on Earth. 15 people have made comments about these stations of the cross on Google Reviews calling them "jagged expressionism" that "breaks people's hearts", "ugly", "out of character", "disturbing and uncomfortable". This is in sheer contrast to the rest of the church being referred to as beautiful and exquisite.
This late addition to the church has no purpose in a reverent place of worship and should be removed.
