This update is urgently needed as there has been much confusion around what this petition is intended to do.

This petition is not about condemning the Muzzo family for Marco Muzzo's sins. We are simply asking for the family name to be removed from the hospital buildings. These hospitals represent places of healing, and personally, driving or walking by the Vaughan hospital or being admitted to the hospital is a tragic reminder of the five lives Marco took.

There are likely contractual agreements between the Muzzo Group and the hospitals. It is likely that the hospitals are legally not allowed to remove the Muzzo name from the buildings unless the family agrees. The best thing for the Muzzo family to do is ask the hospitals to keep the donation while voluntarily requesting for their name to be removed. For this reason, I have added the Muzzo Group team members to the decision-makers on this petition.

The Muzzo's might also want to consider having the Neville-Lake family name put on the Vaughan hospital wing instead, but I'll let them decide what is the right decision.

Donations do not always need to come with glorified recognition. There are many wealthy families who make anonymous donations.
