Remove the Falls City Postmaster

The Issue

Concerned people of Falls City are coming together to gather support for a better postmaster.
We want the USPS remove Margret as the postmaster immediately.

  • We are tired of watching our post office continue to go downhill.
  • We are not ok with the stories we hear around town about people being yelled at by Margret.
  • We are tired of being forgotten when we have concerns, never to receive a call back. Or to call and the phone somehow always comes up busy.
  • To express concerns, only to be forgotten later the same day.
  • We search for information that the person in charge should know, but can never figure out.
  • We are in disbelief that someone so rude and unfit could be allowed to remain in such an important position.
  • We rely on our local postal workers for many things. They should have someone competent leading them.
  • Not someone who is unbelievably rude to them too.
  • Not someone who forgets to pay them.
  • Not someone who chases them away with how poorly she treats them.
  • Because then we are left waiting until crazy hours into the evening to actually recieve our mail.
  • Exhausted carriers working hours on end to show us we actually matter to someone.

And where is she to help in all this?

  • Certainly not out helping these overworked mailpeople.
  • Not inside either, she always seems to be on a break when you go in.
  • She goes home, out of town every day. Doesn't have to hear about all the things she leaves unfinished or untouched here.
  • Like how the front entrance seems to be falling apart for over a year now.
  • Steps cracking apart, railing rusted away, leaving the elderly a dangerous journey up every day.
  • Or how Shubert got the power and water shut off, because the bill didn't get paid.

She doesn't seem to care at all about the community, when she should be a pillar.

  • We need to stand up and say enough is enough.
  • We have tried to put in complaints and ask our mailmen and mailwomen for help.
  • But nothing else seems to work.
  • If we show this isn't some small issue to our city, the post office will have to listen and do something.

We plan to gather as much support as possible and share this with someone in charge
