The Issue

In recent years, I've witnessed with frustration how my tax dollars have supported major RAM manufacturers. This investment wasn't just out of pocket, it's a contribution made by millions of us across the nation. These funds were meant to bolster innovation and production within the industry, with the understanding that these advancements would ultimately benefit consumers like you and me.

However, it seems these companies have forgotten their obligations to the very people who have financially backed them. Once reliant on public investment, these manufacturers have now shifted their focus away from consumer markets, leaving us without access to the very products our tax dollars have supported. This redirection of resources undermines the original intent of these subsidies and leaves us, the everyday consumer, in the lurch.

To make matters worse, while these companies no longer create RAM for consumers, they continue to enjoy the financial support provided by government subsidies. This not only affects us as consumers but also perpetuates an inequitable distribution of national resources. We are subsidizing an industry that no longer meets our needs nor serves our interests.

Therefore, we urge policymakers and relevant governmental bodies to reassess and revoke the subsidies granted to those RAM manufacturers that have ceased creating products for the consumer market. Instead, let's allocate our taxpayer money to innovators and manufacturers who will genuinely contribute to and serve the public interest.

By signing this petition, you are supporting a market that is fair and supportive of its consumers. You are standing against the misuse of public funds and for fairness in industry subsidies. Our voices can ensure that our hard-earned tax dollars are used in a way that benefits us all. Please sign and share this petition to call for change.
