This is a deeply personal plea, born out of the pain and frustration experienced by many in our community of Ridgway, PA. Our current chief Shawn Geci, has been involved in acts that have shattered trust and caused significant harm to those he swore to protect. His actions of corruption, lying, and stealing have had a profound impact on victims as well as the entire community.

It's not just about one person's experience; it's about the collective damage done to our town's sense of security. We are not alone in this struggle; similar instances have led other communities across America to demand accountability from their law enforcement officials (source: National Police Misconduct Reporting Project).

We believe that no one should be above the law - especially those entrusted with upholding it. Therefore, we call for Shawn Geci to be removed from his position as chief immediately and  banned permanently from serving as a police officer or any other public official.
