Dear Members of the Board of Directors,
I am writing to formally request a review and amendment of the current rental restrictions governing our community. 
The current restrictions create a significant financial hardship because reasons: e.g., unexpected job relocation, need to care for a sick family member, or inability to sell at a fair price.  
I am fully committed to maintaining the high standards and quality of life in our neighborhood. I believe this goal can be achieved while allowing homeowners the flexibility to rent their properties. I propose that the Board consider a policy that  allows leasing with approved background checks, requires tenants to sign the association guidelines, or grandfathering current owners.

Increase the rental cap.

5 years stay in the house before renting!

I request that this issue be added to the agenda for the next scheduled Board meeting so I may formally appeal and discuss this matter in detail.  HOA Member Services
