Cristobal Guerrero, also known as Jay H Cults, needs to be removed from the College of the Sequoias campus as both a student and a staff member. My concern for the safety of students and staff members stems from his predatory behavior, which I discovered after publicly outing him as a rapist. In the wake of this revelation, several victims have come forward to share their harrowing experiences with me, detailing his manipulative and dangerous actions.

Guerrero's presence on campus is not just a threat to students and staff; it is an imminent danger. He has been reportedly providing alcohol to 18- and 19-year-old students at his home, whereafter these extremely intoxicated individuals are led to his bedroom. This alone breaches the trust and safety of our educational environment. Further exacerbating the situation, Guerrero has infiltrated various campus clubs, handpicking vulnerable younger adults in an effort to recruit them into a concerning ‘cult’ initiative he is trying to establish.

Working on campus as both a tutor and a staff member at the writing center, Guerrero leverages his position to gain access to unsuspecting students. His access to impressionable young minds under the guise of support and mentorship is deeply disturbing, especially given the multiple allegations against him.

We must act swiftly and decisively to protect our community. The removal of Cristobal Guerrero from all campus affiliations is imperative and non-negotiable. Students attend the College of the Sequoias to further their education and develop in a safe environment, not to be exposed to manipulative and harmful individuals parading as mentors.

The administration must prioritize the safety and well-being of the students above all else, establishing a clear standard against which such predatory behaviors are not just discouraged but outrightly eliminated. Let us raise our voices and demand action.
