Remove Peter Berg from the "Call of Duty" Movie

The Issue

                                                                                                           !Truth Revealed!

We already had worries and suspicions and the dug up Esquire article has confirmed them.

Not only does he call us...ALL OF US pathetic for playing Call of Duty, but he also claims to have told Navy Seals it is pathetic for them to play it... Either 1. He is a keyboard warrior himself and never said it, or 2 is that disrespectful to say that to men like the Seals.

Scroll down for TLDR but I recommend you read the whole thing.

Lets also face facts...Peter Berg is who you call to make mid content. Let's take a look at Peter Berg's...less than illustrious directing work.

His first movie 1998, "Very Bad Things" (Man this guy has been Directing mid a while)

FAILURE

Tried again in 2003 with "The Rundown"

Another Failure

He found a little success with a football tv show "Friday Nigh Lights" and Hancock but that was among two other failures he worked on "The Kingdom" and "The Losers" (Fitting name he should join them)

Then comes what I call "the era of hyped of mediocrity"

Battleship of course we all know was mid. I say this as someone who loves it and has watched it ALOT. It is mid. Acting is mid, story is mid. I watch it because "ohh big ship shoot aliens". But the plot holes in the movie are the size of battleship cannons.

Then he puts out some retellings in the form of
Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, and Patriots Day.

But was this really Peter doing a good job...or was it just Mark Wahlberg to his credit being a fun actor to watch?

I say the latter as Peter tries to keep milking the cash cow that is Mark Wahlberg and stuffs him in two more movies, Mile 22 and Spencer Confidential...BOTH FAILURES. Finally...what is he working on before the Call of Duty movie???????? ANOTHER FOOTBALL MOVIE?!?!?!?!?

                                                                                                                             =TLDR=

Peter Berg is known for producing a couple ok movies carried by Mark Wahlberg and ALOT of mid and straight up failures. Mix that with his opinion on Call of Duty and its players and you get the recipe for a colossal disaster. Are we really supposed to believe he is objective enough to keep that opinion out of the movie...I highly doubt it.

SAVE THE CALL OF DUTY MOVIE.... !KICK PETER BERG OUT!
