Unfortunately, this alteration to Cadbury's signature recipe extends beyond just the change in taste. The production of palm oil is a leading cause of deforestation and threatens wildlife habitats worldwide. A recent study published by the World Wildlife Fund estimated that over 27 million hectares of rainforests have been cleared for palm oil plantations, putting beloved species like orangutans at risk.
