Neal Mohan, the new CEO of YouTube was a strong advocate for removing dislikes which was strongly hated by the community, addition of NFT's and adding the new no-swearing policy.

These facts alone should already be worrying but with the fact he used to work at YouTube with the Trust & Safety and advertising part of the YouTube makes it even more clear that his focus was and for quite some time will still be to make YouTube the ad-friendly place which we've seen it become over the last few years.

This will impact his work as CEO possibly making more less community driven decisions and therefore hurting the platform in the longer run.
