In recent months, my trust in First Minister Michelle has profoundly diminished. Her promise to be a leader for all communities has proven hollow, as she has not only neglected to bridge divides but has also exacerbated tensions by fueling sectarian hatred. First Ministers are supposed to be symbols of unity and progress, yet Michelle's actions suggest she is more interested in deepening divisions.

Michelle's rhetoric has repeatedly demonstrated insensitivity to the deep-seated divisions that exist within our communities. At a time when our society needs healing and mutual understanding, she has chosen to exploit differences for political gain, creating an environment of mistrust and hostility instead of fostering reconciliation and peace.

It is crucial for our government to be led by someone who exemplifies fairness, wisdom, and unity—qualities that are necessary to guide us towards lasting peace and mutual respect. Our First Minister should be one who genuinely works with both communities, understanding their concerns and pushing forward policies that unite rather than divide.

Michelle's continuation in office only delays the progress our community desperately needs. Her leadership thus far has shown she is not capable of fulfilling the essential duties of a First Minister. We demand that she is held accountable for her actions that have clearly been detrimental to the heart of our society.

It is time to petition for the removal of Michelle from office. We can no longer afford leadership that fails to listen to all voices and respect the diverse makeup of our community. We deserve a First Minister who embodies the values of equality, compassion, and unity, and who prioritizes the well-being of everyone.
