I am a visually impaired individual living with a damaged nerve condition. My life, like many others in my situation, is heavily affected by the loud speakers placed near my home by various religious groups. The constant noise not only disrupts our peace but also exacerbates our health conditions.

According to the World Health Organization, exposure to prolonged or excessive noise has been shown to cause a range of health problems ranging from stress, poor concentration, productivity losses in the workplace, and communication difficulties and fatigue from lack of sleep (WHO). For people like me dealing with specific health conditions, these effects are even more pronounced.

We respect everyone's right to practice their religion freely. However, it should not come at the expense of others' peace and well-being. We believe that there can be a balance where everyone's needs are met without causing harm or discomfort to others.
